Unpopular girl
“Did you like it?” she asked. My only response was to laugh and take her face to kiss her again. We stayed on bed for a few minutes in complete silence before she told me her roommate should be home in half an hour. I dressed up and helped her change the bed before leaving to my hotel room.
The next day in the company, Hannah and the other on my “clique” were laughing on my “date” with Eleanor, asking about details of the horribly annoying evening they were sure I had. Being a gentleman, I just gave them some highlights about the show and the dinner, telling them that I had enjoyed the evening even if it was different of what I expected. For the rest of the visit to the company, I had to deal with their jokes about the consultant dating the “crazy girl”.
I could not pass by Victoria’s office during those days, lots of meetings, but the day before leaving Chicago, I was eating at the company’s cafeteria and she stopped by my table. We agreed that it had been a weird evening, but that it been great for both of us and we should repeat it the next time I came to Chicago. Indeed, we repeated our little escapade in my next five visits, the last one before I recommended her to a movie production company in search of a marketing genius.
