Daddy’s Little Girl (Chapter 4)
“Do I look okay this time?” Melinda said noticing Eric’s appreciative look.
“You look absolutely stunning, sweet pea.”
Melinda smiled sweetly at her dad and took his arm, squeezing it to the side of her breast as they walked out the door.
The park was a large facility with numerous picnic tables, thick woods and a large lake with rowboats. Eric and Amanda used to go there quite often when Melinda was young, to let her play on the swings and swim in the lake.
When they arrived, the park was buzzing with activity. There were 60 or 70 people at the picnic, representing the school, family and friends. Eric jumped out and opened the door for his daughter. They walked proudly toward the group picnic area.
It was quickly obvious that everyone noticed Eric. The girls and their mothers drooled and the men looked jealous. Some of the women tried to come on to Eric but he put them all off saying he had a date, his daughter. Melinda strutted around like a peacock, never letting her dad get too far from her sight.
